    A: Finding housing before beginning a post-doc at UCD can be time consuming. To save time, post-docs in our department use several avenues to find roommates or housing. One popular website is craigslist (http://sacramento.craigslist.org). Craigslist is a classifieds website that advertises different housing options. Another popular source is the weekly Services for International Students and Scholars (SISS) Bulletin emailed to the bulletin subscribers every Friday afternoon.     Note: Some complexes will not let you sign a lease for less than one year so be sure to read the contract before signing any agreement.
